Greg partnered with The Financial Group, Inc. in 2014. With over 8 years of experience, his mission is to educate his clients on the many options available in the financial world to help empower them to make the best decisions for themselves and their family. Building long-term relationships is invaluable and a major component within Greg’s practice.
He works carefully to understand his clients’ goals and objectives relative to their overall financial and life situation. Once he has a clear understanding, Greg follows through with creative solutions keeping his clients’ interest above all others. He strives to bring a new level of attention to his clients and values staying in touch with them.
Greg is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM Professional or CFP® Professional. The CFP® mark identifies those individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board, have successfully completed financial planning coursework, and have passed the CFP® Certification Examination covering the following areas: the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning. CFP® Professionals also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements and to uphold CFP Board's Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility, Rules of Conduct, and Financial Planning Practice Standards.
He carries a FINRA Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 registrations with Woodbury Financial Services, Inc. Greg also holds the following insurance licenses: Life, Variable Life, Accident & Health, and Variable Annuity.
Greg has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While studying at the university, he worked as an equipment manager for the UW Badger football team. Prior to partnering with The Financial Group, Inc., Greg worked with MassMutual Financial Group as a Financial Advisor. He also has prior work experience with Filbrandt Investment Advisers and in financial services at Associated Bank in the Madison, WI area. Greg credits his success to prior work experience coupled with the work ethic he learned growing up within his family’s manufacturing business.
Greg and his wife Monika reside in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, and have two children, William and David. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, snowshoeing, and watching/attending Packer and Badger football games.
